    • To suppress a phenomenon of occurrence of oblique lines on a display screen during conversion of scan line directions of a moving image in an image memory. For accomplishing this purpose, an image display apparatus (1,1A) includes a means (105) that stores the image data of a first frame and the following second frame constituting a moving image and that has first through third memory areas; a means (103) that writes the image data of the first frame into the first and second memory areas and also writes the image data of the second frame into the first and third memory areas; a means (103) that reads the image data of the first frame from the first and second memory areas and also reads the image data of the second frame from the first and third memory areas, while converting a scan line direction related to the image data of the first and second frames being read to a second scan line direction different from the first scan line direction of the image data before the writing; and a means (200) that sequentially outputs the read image data of the first and second frames in a visible manner.

    • PURPOSE: A surface mount type antenna and an antenna device are provided to obtain resonance frequency characteristics of antenna in an easy and stable manner, and reduce the size of the antenna. CONSTITUTION: A surface mount type antenna(10) comprises a feeder terminal(12) arranged at an end of a side surface of a base body(11) made of a rectangular parallelepiped dielectric or magnetic material; and radiating electrodes(13,14,15,16,17,18) having ends connected to the feeder terminal. The radiating element passes through one end of one main surface of the base body from the end of the side surface, turns one of the other end of one main surface or the other end of one side surface or the other end of the other main surface, and is extended in parallel to the edge of the base body.

    • PURPOSE: A surface mount antenna and an antenna device are provided to lower a resonance frequency of a radiation electrode, and reduce the size of the antenna without reducing the thickness of radiation electrode. CONSTITUTION: A feed terminal(12) and a ground terminal(13) are arranged on a side surface of a rectangular parallelepiped base body(11). A radiation electrode(14) connected to an end of the ground terminal is extended to an end of a main surface of the base body through the other end of the main surface of the base body from the side surface, and returns to the other end of the main surface. The radiation electrode has an open end disposed around the other end of the main surface. The feed terminal has a free end arranged in the vicinity of the radiation electrode. An antenna device(21) has a surface mount antenna(10) mounted on a substrate(16) having a surface on which a feed electrode(18), a ground electrode(19), and a ground conductor layer(20) are formed.
