    • The present invention relates to biopsy forceps for an endoscope. The biopsy forceps for an endoscope comprise: forceps that are opened and closed so as to collect tissues or discharge collected tissues; a wire for opening and closing the forceps; a handle assembly controlled by an operator so as to operate the wire and to open or close the forceps thereby; and a locking device equipped in the handle assembly so as to lock the operation of the handle assembly so that the forceps are maintained in a closed state. The locking device uses, for example, a plate spring or a rack gear and pinion gear. Once tissues are collected in the forceps, the locking device locks the operation of the handle assembly so that the forceps are maintained in a closed state. By means of the present invention, the forceps are locked to be maintained in an opened state while collecting tissues so that the biopsy forceps can be handled easily, production costs for the biopsy forceps is reduced, and reuse of the biopsy forceps can be prevented.

    • The present invention relates to a device to automatically test the leakage of an endoscope and a testing method thereof. Endoscopes are provided with RFID tags having inherent identification information on each endoscope according to various kinds thereof, and a device to automatically test the leakage of an endoscope is provided with an RFID module to read the inherent identification information of an endoscope from such an RFID tag. A device to automatically test the leakage of an endoscope manages endoscope information according to the various types of endoscopes, reads the inherent identification information of the endoscopes using an RF communications network, selects the information on any one endoscope corresponding to the read inherent identification information and automatically treats the leakage test for the endoscope. According to the present invention, the leakage test of an endoscope can readily be carried out by managing data according to the various types of endoscopes using the RFID communications network, thereby improving accuracy of the leakage test.
