    • PURPOSE: A spheroidizing annealing abbreviated steel material and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to induce a non-dissolved cementite residue in reheating a billet by increasing the Acm(the temperature for cementite production or precipitation) transformation point to the temperature range of over 900°C and to control the rolling and cooling conditions for the efficient growth of a seed. CONSTITUTION: A spheroidizing annealing abbreviated steel material is composed of, in wt%: C 0.9-1.4, B 0.001-0.01 and Ti 0.01-0.05, at least one or two kinds of Si 1.0-3.0, M 0.3-0.7 and Cr 1.0-2.0, the remainder Fe and the other unavoidable impurities. The micro-structure of the spheroidizing annealing abbreviated steel material is the dual phase structure of ferrite and speroidization cementite. The Acm of the steel material is 900°C or greater. The average distance between the carbides within the steel material is 50μm or less. A manufacturing method of a spheroidizing annealing abbreviated steel material comprises the step of reheating a billet at 900-1100°C, the step of rolling the reheated billet at A1(eutectoid transformation temperature)-Acm, the first cooling step of firstly cooling the rolled steel material to A1-A1+20°C at the cooling speed of 3-20°C/s, and the second step of secondly cooling the steel material cooled at the first cooling step at the cooling speed of less than 3°C/s.
