    • A high carbon steel sheet having high yield strength and high rolling workability is provided to solve a problem that cracking or fracture is generated in the steel sheet due to its deficient rolling workability during the reduction of the steel sheet when using lower bainite or tempered martensite as a matrix structure, and a manufacturing method of the high carbon steel sheet is provided. A high carbon steel sheet comprises, by weight percent, 0.75 to 0.95% of carbon(C), 1.8% or less of silicon(Si), 0.1 to 1.5% of manganese(Mn), 0.1 to 1.0% of chromium(Cr), 0.02% or less of phosphorous(P), 0.02% or less of sulfur(S), and at least one element selected from the group consisting of 0.05 to 0.25% of V, 0.05 to 0.25% of Nb, 0.05 to 0.25% of Mo, 0.05 to 0.25% of Ti, 0.05 to 0.25% of W, 0.05 to 0.25% of Cu, and 30 to 120 ppm of N with the balance of Fe and other inevitable impurities. A microstructure of the steel sheet comprises fine pearlite having an interlayer distance of not more than 0.2 mum between lamellar cementities and upper bainite having a volume fraction of at least 90%. In the microstructure of the steel sheet, a sum of volume fractions of residual austenite and martensite is not more than 5%.

Al is added for the deoxidation in order to suppress the generation of the crack in the continuous casting process. When considering sulfuric acid resistance and complex part type property, Cu is the element which it certainly has to be added. Sb improves the corrosion resistance by forming the corrosion product on the steel surface.
