    • PURPOSE: A power equalizing apparatus in a wavelength division multiplexed-passive optical network (WDM-PON) system is provided to minimize an effect of a cross-talk at a reception end by equalizing the power of optical signals which are transmitted from the optical reception units of all the channels. CONSTITUTION: A second wavelength division demultiplexer (14) receives a determined ratio of a received optical signal. The second wavelength division demultiplexer demultiplexes the received signal into multiple channels. Each of the multiple optical detecting units (15) converts the demultiplexed optical signal into an electronic signal with the multiple channels. A first control unit (16) includes information which is related to the power of each channel which is included in the optical signal which is demultiplexed with the multiple channels in a downstream signal.     • PURPOSE: A massive communication system using a wavelength variable laser is provided to simply execute massive communication system by using the wavelength variable laser. CONSTITUTION: A communication system comprises a plurality of wave variable laser (13), a wavelength division multiplexing or de-multiplexing unit (11), an optical coupler (12), an optical detector (14), and a wavelength control unit (16). The wavelength division multiplexing or de-multiplexing unit transmits an optical signal outputted from a plurality of wavelength variable lasers to an external data center through an optical fiber. The wavelength division multiplexing or de-multiplexing unit individually transmits the plurality of the wavelength variable laser by de-multiplexing the optical signal received through the optical fiber. The optical coupler receives and divides reflective light components with the optical fiber. The optical detection unit converts the reflective components into electric signals. The wavelength control unit matches the oscillation wavelength of the wavelength variable laser with the penetration wavelength of the multiplexing or de-multiplexing unit by controlling the oscillation wavelength of the wavelength variable laser by using the electric signal.
