    • The present invention relates to a battery pack which is easy for an integration and a miniaturization and to a manufacturing method thereof. The provided battery pack includes: a battery cell from which a pair of electrode tabs including an anode tab and a cathode tab protrudes; a battery protection circuit module package which includes a lead frame including a plurality of separated leads and having a battery protection circuit structure element including a PTC structure and a sealing material sealing the battery protection circuit structure element including the PTC structure while at least both lateral parts of the lead frame is exposed to adhere to the electrode tabs; a flexible printed circuit board which is electrically connected with the lead frame by attaching an end to the lead frame; and a connector unit which is electrically connected by being attached to the other end of the flexible printed circuit board and comprises a connector socket and a connector wiring.

    • The present invention relates to a battery protection circuit module package, which is advantageous in integration and miniaturization and provides a battery protection circuit module package, comprising: a PTC structure including a PTC element, a metal layer attached to a first surface, which is one of upper and lower surfaces of the PTC element, and a connecting member attached to a second surface, which is the other of the upper and lower surfaces of the PTC element; a lead frame including a plurality of spaced-apart leads and electrically connected to an electrode terminal of a battery bare cell by way of the PTC structure; and a battery protection circuit element mounted on the lead frame and including at least one of a protection integrated circuit (IC), a field effect transistor (FET), and at least one passive element, wherein the passive element is arranged to connect at least a portion of the spaced-apart leads with one another. Furthermore, an electrical connecting member connecting two selected from a group consisting of the protection IC, the FET, and the leads with one another is provided, such that the battery protection circuit is configured without using a separate printed circuit board.
