    • PURPOSE: An atomic electrical power plant controller and a data transmitting and receiving method thereof are provided to offer communications environment which is fitted to a safety assembly of nuclear power generation by verifying the soundness of a memory and a telecommunication line for transmitting and receiving data. CONSTITUTION: A first control data is recorded in a transmitting area of a first shared memory(210) by a processor module. A second control data is recorded in a receiving area of the first shared memory by a communications operation processor(230). The first control data is recorded in a transmitting area of a second shared memory(220) by the communications operation processor. The second control data is recorded in a receiving area of the second shared memory by a communications driver processor(240). The communications operation processor verifies soundness of the first control data which is stuck out in the transmitting area of the first shared memory.

The counter counts size of the data. The controller compares the data with threshold. The format testing part verifies the soundness of the data by testing a format of the data. The CRC testing part tests a CRC error of the data. The serial number testing part determines the soundness of the data.
