    • A battery connected with a plurality of battery groups in parallel is provided to improve the quality by monitoring whether each battery is in a normal state or not by using a monitoring terminal. A battery connected with a plurality of battery groups in parallel comprises a battery assembly(B) obtained from a plurality of battery groups(P1,P2) formed by connecting at least one unit cell(u) in series and coupling one end of a countercurrent-preventing unit(D1,D2) to both electrode terminals of each battery, wherein the remaining ends of the countercurrent-preventing unit are connected to each other, and anode terminals of the battery groups are connected to each other to form a battery assembly; and a cathode terminal(2) and an anode terminal(1) installed on a battery casing in which the battery assembly is received. The battery casing further includes monitoring terminals(3,4) connected to a contact where the cathode terminal of each battery groups is connected with one end of the countercurrent-preventing unit to monitor whether each battery group is in a normal state or not.

CONSTITUTION: A capacitor(C) charges the voltage of a Li/SOCl2 battery. A protection part(3) applies the voltage of the capacitor to a load before the initial voltage delay time of the Li/SOCl2 battery elapses. The protection part applies the voltage of the Li/SOCl2 battery to the load after the initial voltage delay time of the Li/SOCl2 battery elapses. When the voltage of the Li/SOCl2 battery is less than a predetermined voltage, the protection part does not apply a voltage to the load.
