    • An impulse-impedance measuring system and a method thereof are provided to the large-scale lightening ground, the building structure body ground, the tower-footing ground of pylon etc. An impulse-impedance measuring system comprises an impulse generation apparatus(100), a ground connection rail track(10), and an impulse-impedance measure system(200). The ground connection rail track is comprised of a lightening ground earth bar(11), a current feedback secondary earth bar(12) and a voltage measurement secondary earth bar(13). The impulse generated from the impulse generation apparatus is induced in the ground connection rail track. The impulse-impedance measure system measures the impedance of the induced impulse.

    • PURPOSE: A lightning stroke current generator is provided to implement a certification test, a performance test, an inspection test, and a delivery test based on international standards by generating lightning stroke current waveforms which are adequate for the international standards. CONSTITUTION: A lightning stroke current generator is composed of a short time lightning stroke current generating unit(100), a high voltage impulse generating unit(200), and a controller(300) for the short time lightning stroke current generating unit. The short time lightning stroke current generating unit includes a first direct current high voltage generating unit and a lightning stroke current generating unit. The first direct current high voltage generating unit generates direct current output voltages. The lightning stroke current generating unit receives the direct current output voltages from the direct current high voltage generating unit and charges electric charges for generating impulse currents. The light stroke current generating part discharges the electric charges to generate the impulse currents to be transformed according to wave head parts and wave tail parts.
