CONSTITUTION: A seal chiller of an intermediate shaft bearing comprises a cooling hole(B), a circulating hole(D), and a circulating pipe(4). The cooling hole is formed on the friction portion(C) of a housing(3) and a seal(2) to pass simultaneously through the seal and the housing. The circulating hole is formed on a part of the body of the housing. The circulating hole is connected to a housing space(A) through the housing. One end of the circulating pipe makes contact with the cooling hole. The other end of the circulating pipe makes contact with the circulating hole.

The temperature in-sensor and the temperature out-sensor check the temperature of the air. If the temperature of the air exceeds a reference temperature, then the shut-off valve operates to block the air. The bleed air shut-off valve operates to automatically block the air flow. Last, the vent -to-ambient valve is open, and thus the air gets out.

The guide pipe is connected to the shaft on top and pivoted around the connection part. The yoke is inserted in the hollow(B) of the guide pipe on top and connected to the bearing assembly on bottom, and is pivoted around the connection part. The bearing assembly induces the angular motion of the yoke by moving back and forth along with a dual hydraulic pipe(5) reciprocating back and forth. The shaft transfers the angular motion of the guide pipe to a pitch angle meter connected to the exterior of the oil distribution box.
