    • The present invention relates to a friction stir spot welding method of different materials capable of stacking different materials, applying electric pulse to a junction point of a material, whose melting point is relatively lower among different materials, to be spot welded; and friction stir spot welding after flow stress (flow distortion power) is lowered. According to the present invention, the friction stir spot welding method of different materials comprises: a step for stacking a second plate consisting of a material different from a first plate in the upper side of a first plate; a step for marking a junction point in a corresponding position to be spot-welded in the surface of the second plate; a step for applying electric pulse to the first plate to lower flow stress (flow distortion power) of the first plate; and a step for welding by friction stirring the first plate and the second plate by pressurizing the junction point while a friction stir welding frame of a welding apparatus rotates in one direction in a junction point formed in the surface of the second plate. The friction stir spot welding method of different materials is capable of stacking a different kind of two materials, applying the electric pulse in a junction position to be spot welded of a material whose melting point is relatively lower between two materials, and performing friction stir spot-welding after lowering flow stress (flow distortion power). Therefore, the friction stir spot welding method of different materials has the advantage of reducing a welding defect; reducing energy and production costs; increasing material properties such as moldability, fatigue strength, etc. of a metal material by using improvement effect of a microstructure of a material; and improving the productivity and the friction stir welding speed by welding in a relatively low temperature by lowering flow stress of a material.
    • 本发明涉及一种能够堆叠不同材料的不同材料的摩擦搅拌点焊接方法,对不同材料的熔点相对较低的材料的接合点施加电脉冲进行点焊; 并且在流动应力(流动变形功率)之后的摩擦搅拌点焊被降低。 根据本发明,不同材料的摩擦搅拌点焊方法包括:在第一板的上侧堆叠由不同于第一板的材料构成的第二板的步骤; 在第二板的表面中标记要点焊的对应位置处的接合点的步骤; 向第一板施加电脉冲以降低第一板的流动应力(流动变形能力)的步骤; 以及通过在焊接装置的摩擦搅拌焊接框架在形成于第二板的表面中的接合点沿一个方向旋转的同时对连接点进行加压来摩擦搅拌第一板和第二板来进行焊接的步骤。 不同材料的摩擦搅拌点焊方法能够堆叠不同种类的两种材料,将电脉冲施加在两个材料之间熔点相对较低的材料点焊的接合位置,并进行摩擦搅拌点 - 降低流量应力(流量失真功率)后进行焊接。 因此,不同材料的摩擦搅拌点焊方法具有减少焊接缺陷的优点; 降低能源和生产成本; 通过使用材料的显微组织的改善效果来增加金属材料的成型性,疲劳强度等的材料性能; 并且通过降低材料的流动应力,通过在相对低的温度下进行焊接来提高生产率和摩擦搅拌焊接速度。

    • PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for monitoring friction stir welding and friction stir point welding are provided to improve the welding quality of the friction stir welding and friction stir point welding. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for monitoring friction stir welding and friction stir point welding comprises a tool(10), a sound sensor, an amplifier(17), and a monitor(19). The tool attaches materials by the friction stir welding and friction stir point welding. The sound sensor is arranged adjacent to the tool and senses sound emission signals generated from the attached part of the materials. The amplifier is electrically connected to the sound sensor to amplify the sound emission signals. The monitor is electrically connected to the amplifier and displays the sound emission signals as a graph based on a time function.

CONSTITUTION: A friction stir welding method comprises the steps of: plunging a rotary tool(11), which rotates at a first rotating speed of 1200-1700 RPM toward a junction part(2) between two flat plates, by a predetermined plunge depth of 1.43-1.52 mm in the junction part while vertically moving the rotary tool at a predetermined plunging speed of 5-10 mm/min; dwelling the rotary tool for a predetermined dwelling time; friction-stir-welding the junction part of the flat plates by transferring the rotary tool in the longitudinal direction of the junction part while rotating the rotary tool at a second rotating speed and applying pressure to the rotary tool.
