摘要： Firstly, elongated tape-like articles from a finishing machine are received one by one on a horizontal first pallet above a tray in a bundling or packaging station. They are then released to fall upon receipt. Secondly, the successive articles from the first pallet are received on a horizontal second pallet between the first pallet and the tray to store the articles in stack. When released, all of the stored articles from the second pallet fall as a set onto the tray when the number of the stored article sreaches a first predetermined value. When the number of sets of the articles stacked on the tray reaches a second predetermined value, the entire stack of the articles are bundled or packed and are then removed from the tray.

摘要： The apparatus severs predetermined lengths from the leading end or a continuous web consisting of lengths connected by joints. An intermittent feeder advances the web to a cutting station by predetermined normal increments, but is contolled to perform a different feed increment when a detector of a control system senses a joint in the web, so that the joint is cut out automatically for separate removal. Preference a removal section with a joint is collected separately in a reciprocable container. Pref. the joint is a staple sensed by metal detector, or reflective adhesive sensed by PE apparatus.
