    • The present invention is provided to suppress the pupil-shaped emission or bright line which occurs in the edge of an aperture window of a rim sheet (shade plate) due to light leakage. A light guide panel (33) is formed by continuously arranging a thick light introduction unit (34) and a thin light guide panel body (35). A light source (40) is arranged on a light incident cross-section (36) of the light introduction unit. Three optical sheets, those are, one diffusion sheet (43) and two prism sheets (44, 45) are laminated on the top side (light emitting surface (39)) of the light guide panel body. Also, a rim sheet (36) is laminated on the optical sheets, and an aperture window (47) is formed on the rim sheet to pass the light emitted from the light emitting surface. An end unit of the diffusion sheet in the light source is extended further than the end of prism sheets, and at least one surface of the extent of the diffusion sheet is covered with a shade member (49). The end of the extent of the diffusion sheet is adhered on a printed circuit board (41), which mounts the light source, and is fixated on the printed circuit board.

    • The irradiation or bright line of a pupil shape generated around an opening window of a rim sheet (light shielding plate) is suppressed by leakage light. On a light guide plate (33), a thick light introduction unit (34) and a thin light guide main body (35) are sequentially formed. A light source (40) is arranged to face a light incidence cross section (36) of the light introduction unit (34). Three optical sheets, which are a diffusion sheet (43) and two prism sheets (44, 45), are overlapped on the upper surface (light discharge surface (39)) of the light guide main body (35). Also, a rim sheet (46) is overlapped on the optical sheet and has an opening window (47) for passing light discharged from the light discharge surface (39). One end of the diffusion sheet (43) on the light source side is more protrusive than the end of the prism sheets (44, 45). At least one side of the protrusive portion of the diffusion sheet (43) is covered by a light shielding member (49). The end of the protrusive portion of the diffusion sheet (43) is bonded and fixated on a print substrate (41) mounted with the light source (41).
