    • PURPOSE: A digital TV is provided to enable a digital TV receiver to individually control a system when the system is to be rebooted owing to an abnormal situation of an operating system in the digital TV receiver, thereby enabling a viewer to watch the digital TV. CONSTITUTION: A digital TV receiver(100) inputs a broadcasting stream, performs a decoding process, and outputs a digital broadcasting program to a viewer. A host CPU(300) and a local CPU(400) control an operating system useful for the digital TV receiver(100). A glue logic portion(200) periodically checks a state of the operating system, and enables either the host CPU(300) or the local CPU(400) to select a control right of the digital TV receiver(100). The local CPU(400) and the glue logic portion(200) are configured together within the digital TV receiver(100) through a local bus line. The host CPU(300) and an HDD are configured outside the digital TV receiver(100) through a PCI bus line.

    • A multi-display supporting set-top box is provided to watch digital broadcasting through a plurality of client display modules using one set-top box.     • Disclosed is a moving picture streaming method in a VOD system, which selects moving pictures according to a level of a bandwidth in which a client is connected to a server, wherein the level is selected from group including five levels in the descending order, wherein the five levels includes: a first level for streaming all of at least one I picture, at least one P picture and at least one B picture of the video picture together with the audio; a second level for streaming the I and P pictures of the video picture together with the audio; a third level for streaming the I picture of the video picture together with the audio; a fourth level for streaming a portion of the I picture of the video picture together with the audio; and a fifth level for streaming the audio only. The moving pictures are efficiently transmitted regardless of a network environment of the client.
