    • PURPOSE: An apparatus for determining the polarization of a radar signal and a method thereof are provided to receive a vertically polarized wave, a horizontally polarized wave, a left turn circular polarized wave, and a right turn circularly polarized wave. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for determining the polarization of a radar signal comprises a sinuous antenna(10), a divider(20), a hybrid coupler(30), and a polarization determining unit(40). The antenna receives the linear polarization of a radar signal which is received in real time. The divider branches off the linear polarization to first linear polarization and second linear polarization. A hybrid coupler changes the first polarization into circular polarization. A polarization determining unit distinguishes the polarization of the radar signal which is received in real time based on the second linear polarization and the circular polarization.

    • PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for verifying an electronic information collecting system receiving radar signals are provided to precisely verify the electronic information collecting system by reflecting Doppler error generated between a target unit and radar. CONSTITUTION: A frequency signal generator(120) generates a frequency signal in order to simulate a radar signal. A controller(110) forms a phase control signal with respect to the frequency signal based on a first point and a second point. The first point is set as the generating position of the radar signal. The second point is set as the current location of a target unit. A modulator(130) implements phase modulation with respect to the frequency signal based on the phase control signal. An output(140) provides a frequency signal including the signal component of Doppler error due to the phase modulation.
