    • PURPOSE: A method for distributing a traffic channel using a cell coverage is provided to efficiently use subscriber accommodated capacity by adjusting the regions of a plurality of base station cell coverage. CONSTITUTION: If an A base station in which the number of subscribers is more than a threshold value exists among base stations controlled by a main processor(S1), the main processor gradually decreases a cell coverage region of the A base station, assigns a redundant power to a traffic channel, and checks the number of subscribers of the A base station(S2). The main processor gradually increases the cell coverage of a B base station and a C base station and checks the number of subscribers in the B and C base stations(S3). The main processor judges whether the number of all subscribers of the A, B, and C base stations is less than the threshold value(S4). If the number of all subscribers of the A, B, and C base stations is less than the threshold value, the main processor maintains an attenuation value of each base station(S5).

    • PURPOSE: A method for checking whether an up-converter output cable is abnormal is provided to easily grasp a cause when an up-converter output power is abnormal by measuring a power returned to a termination of an up-converter, comparing a transmission power with the return power, judging whether an output cable is abnormal according to the compared result value, and informing the judged result to an upper system. CONSTITUTION: A transmission power detector passes an RF signal(transmission signal) converted into an upward frequency and detects a power of the transmission signal(ST11). The transmission power detector senses an output between an up-converter and an output cable(ST12). An up-converter VSWR(Voltage Standing Wave Ratio) test is automatically performed(ST13). A transmission power in a termination of the up-converter is returned to a receipt power detector through a switch, and the receipt power detector passes the return power and detects a power(ST14,ST15). The detected transmission power value and receipt power(return power) value are compared each other to obtain a VSWR value(ST16). It is checked whether the obtained VSWR value is more than a threshold value(ST17). If the obtained VSWR value is more than the threshold value, an alarm is transmitted to an upper system for informing that the output cable of the up-converter is abnormal(ST18).
