    • PURPOSE: Provided is a method for preparing a polyester resin copolymerized with 1,4-cyclohexane dimethanol, which shows brighter color than that of existing copolymerized polyester resin, and which has reduced metal content and thereby improving transparency. CONSTITUTION: The method for preparing a copolymerized polyester resin containing 20-80 mol% of 1,4-cyclohexane dimethanol with respect to total glycol component, is characterized in that ethylene glycol and 1,4-cyclohexane dimethanol are added to terephthalic acid to perform an esterification, and then 4% or less(based on amount of the glycol) of copolymer of titanium dioxide and silicon dioxide as a polycondensation catalyst, is added to the esterified product, so as to perform an polycondensation to obtain a polyester resin copolymerized with 1,4-cyclohexane dimethanol.
