摘要： PURPOSE: An electronic diving watch with analog display is provided to enable a user to observe information with great ease, in other words to obtain a diving watch having good readability of the information. CONSTITUTION: An electronic diving watch comprises a sealed case(2) containing a timepiece movement covered by a dial(4). The electronic diving watch comprises at least first graduations(8,9) corresponding to time indications. The timepiece movement comprises electronic circuits adapted to generate time signals for motor units controlling at least respective first and second analog display organs(13,14). The analog display organs are disposed above the dial to display the current time in a first mode of operation. The electronic diving watch further comprises a pressure sensor adapted to produce electric signals representing the surrounding pressure and to supply the signals to the electronic circuits. The electronic diving watch has at least a second mode of operation in which display of data relating to the performance of diving is provided. The display of the data relating to the performance of diving is achieved by at least one of the display organs in connection with the first graduations corresponding to the time indications. The data relating to the diving are representative of the maximum remaining duration during which the user of the watch is able to continue with a current dive before needing to perform a decompressing stage during the ascent, and the first display organ is further arranged to be able to move in the anticlockwise direction relative to the first graduations to indicate the remaining duration.

The electronic diving watch has at least a second operating mode, or diving mode, in which a display of data relating to the practice of diving is provided. The first graduations function in particular to indicate a depth. The electronic circuits comprise first units which are able to control the first display organ, in the diving mode, in order to indicate the depth in conjunction with the first graduations. The electronic circuits comprise second units which are able to define almost continually a minimum depth which is not to be exceeded by a wearer of the electronic diving watch during the ascent from a dive, calculated from a substantially continuous decompression algorithm, and to control the second display organ in order to indicate the depth which is not to be exceeded in conjunction with the first graduations substantially in real time.
