摘要： PURPOSE: A standby power cut-off apparatus and a control method thereof are provided to improve convenience of a user, by providing operation state when a person is located around the standby power cut-off apparatus for more than reference time. CONSTITUTION: A sensing unit (10) detects a current or a voltage of a power supply line (7) of a commercial power source. A standby power cut-off unit (30) cuts off standby power supplied to an electronic device by driving a relay switch (9) in the standby power supply state judged according to the detected information. If a person located around a standby power cut-off apparatus is sensed by a sensing sensor (40), a controller (25) displays operation state after the first reference time through a display unit (35).
