CONSTITUTION: Optical communication material comprises a monomer represented by the formula 1 synthesized by reacting amine containing fluorine and or chlorine with itaconic anhydride, and its homopolymer and copolymer with monomer containing more than two kinds of fluorine and or chlorine. In the formula 1, R is amine containing fluorine and/or chlorine which induces imide reaction.

CONSTITUTION: The monomer which has a structure represented by formula 1, is produced by reacting a fluorine and/or chlorine-containing aliphatic alcohol which can induce a nucleophilic reaction, with fumaric acid. In the formula 1, R is a fluorine and/or chlorine-containing aliphatic alcohol which can induce a nucleophilic reaction. The homopolymer and copolymer which has more improved physical property applicable to optic communication in comparison with existing acrylic polymer, is produced by introducing fluorine and/or chlorine into fumaric monomer structure.
