    • PURPOSE: A multiple-view directional display apparatus is provided to improve angle interval selectivity by displaying two images through a stereoscopic multiplexing. CONSTITUTION: A display(40) is comprised of an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display)(43), a parallax lens array(44) having a lenticular screen type, and an additional lens array(45). The parallax lens of array focuses the LCD on an outside of the additional lens array. The combination of the parallax lens array and the additional lens array forms a real image of the LCD on a viewing plane or around of the display where a viewer should be positioned. A pixel plane of an SLM(Spatial Light Modulator) is actually focused on a user plane. Increase of a viewing angle interval is dependent on a focusing length of the two arrays and a space between the two arrays.
