    • PURPOSE: A system and method for measuring bacteria and virus using impedance are provided to measure the Existence and concentration of bacteria and virus by measuring the impedance transformation of the culture medium by the metabolism of bacteria and the virus originated enzyme reaction. CONSTITUTION: A system for measuring bacteria and virus using impedance comprises a substrate part(110), an electrode part(100) and a membrane(105). The substrate part is made of a silicon wafer. The substrate part comprises a silicon dioxide layer on top. The electrode part is located in upper end of the silicon dioxide layer. The membrane is located on the upper part of the electrode part. The membrane is made of thin film solid culture medium having the disposition of neuraminidase.

    • PURPOSE: A bio device and a method for growing and sensing nerve cells using the same are provided to separately culture axon of nerve cells and sense grown axon. CONSTITUTION: A bio device comprises: a first chamber(112) in which cells are cultured; a second chamber(114) which is separately placed from the first chamber; and a plurality of microchannel(116) which is placed between the first and second chambers. The bio device further comprises a first micro electrode(122) which applies electric stimulation to the cells, and a plurality second microelectrodes(124) which induces growth of axon and senses the growth of axon. A method for growing and sensing nerve cells using the bio device comprises: a step of injecting cells to the first chamber; a step of applying electric stimulation to the cells using the first microelectrode; a step of sensing the growth of axon using the second microelectrode; a step of applying electric stimulation to the end of the axon using the second microelectrode; and a step of sensing biological reaction of the axon from the second microelectrode using immunostaining.

The apparatus for detecting the existence and density of airborne bacteria comprises the clean air generation system for supplying clean air, fluid flow controller for controlling the air flow rate, spray for spraying aerosol of pathogenic microorganism dissolved in liquid in the vessel by using the air introduced through the fluid flow controller, pitch clamp for controlling the aerosol sprayed from the spray, incubator for growing the pathogenic bacteria introduced from the spray, microorganism impedance spectrum sensor for detecting the electrical signal from the pathogenic bacteria grown in the incubator and impedance analyzer for measuring the impedance change value from the electrical signal measured by the microorganism impedance spectrum sensor.
