    • A device of a portable terminal for distributively processing video communication by embedding dual processors and a method are provided to process a video encoding procedure distributively so that a communication processor is able to perform the encoding procedure which was performed by a main processor, thereby distributing loads congested to the main processor into the communication processor. The first controller(302) encodes video data obtained from a camera(312). A DPRAM(Dual Port Random Access Memory)(324) stores the encoded video data. The second controller(300) reads and decodes the encoded video data, and displays the read and decoded video data. The first controller(302) encodes voice data from a microphone(318). The first controller(302) multiplexes the encoded video data with the encoded voice data to send the multiplexed data to a modem(334).

    • A video call method in a portable terminal and an apparatus thereof are provided to prevent the processing of video frames from being delayed and stabilize the CPU occupancy of a video decoder by selectively displaying video frames, which are received and accumulated in a video call. If a video call starts(401), a portable terminal displays received video frames and measures video call system resources(403). The portable terminal checks whether video frames, received from the other side's terminal, are accumulatively stored in a buffer(405). If the received video frames are accumulatively stored in the buffer, the portable terminal decodes all the accumulatively stored video frames, measures the number of the video frames, and determines the number of video frames to be skipped using the measured video call system resources(407). The portable terminal selects video frames to be skipped according to the determined number among the decoded video frames, discards them, and displays the other frames.

When the current time is identical to the pre-set alarm time, the mobile terminal sounds the alarm(303) and checks whether the input of an alarm key is sensed(305). When the input of the alarm key is sensed, the mobile terminal checks whether the input of the alarm key is for a short input of the alarm key for a snooze function(307). When the input of the alarm key is for the short input of the alarm key, the mobile terminal stops the alarm bell(309) and determines the number of short inputs of the alarm key(311). The mobile terminal checks whether time obtained by multiplying the number of short inputs to a predetermined standby time has lapsed(313).

    • PURPOSE: A lighting device is provided to improve heat dissipation without a heat radiation plate by using a metal body of an object as a heat sink. CONSTITUTION: A flexible substrate(110) is arranged on the contact surface of a metal body(140). A light emitting device(120) is mounted on the flexible substrate. A heat radiation adhesive(130) is arranged between the flexible substrate and the metal body to transfer the heat generated from the light emitting device to the metal body. The heat radiation adhesive is coated on the contact surface of the flexible substrate or the metal body. The metal body of an object functions as a heat sink for discharging the heat from the heat radiation adhesive to the outside.
