    • A touch sensor unit and a sensitivity controlling method thereof are provided to design a shape or a structure of a cover by controlling sensitivity according to the shape or the structure of the cover, and reduce an input error rate by controlling the uniform sensitivity irrespective of the shape or the structure of the cover. A touch sensor unit includes a substrate(100), a touch sensor(105) mounted on the substrate, the 3D cover(110) mounted on the touch sensor, and a controller(115) controlling the sensitivity of the touch sensor by applying weight to the sensitivity corresponding to 3D position data of the cover. The cover applies the weight to the sensitivity in proportion to thickness of the cover. The cover includes an active area sensing a touch and an inactive area incapable of sensing the touch. The controller interrupts a touch signal received from the inactive area. The cover includes a rectangular central part(110a) and a slope(110b) tilted/extended from the central part to the upper outer side. The central part, a diagonal area of the central part, and a corner area of the slope are detected as the active area.
