    • PURPOSE: A humidifier is provided to stabilize a humidification chamber by using the electrolyzed water and to remove the water remained in the humidification chamber by discharging the water to the outside, thereby preventing the proliferation of microbes. CONSTITUTION: A humidifier includes a water storage chamber (200), an electrolysis unit (300), a first pipe (410), a second pipe (420), a first valve (430), a second valve (440), a filter unit (500), a humidification chamber (100), and a control unit (620). The electrolysis unit electrolyzes the water stored in the water storage chamber. The electrolyzed water flows into the first and second pipes. The first and second valves open/close the flow paths of the first and second pipes. The filter unit is arranged in the first pipe and filters the electrolyzed water. The humidification chamber receives the water supplied from one of the first and second pipes. The control unit controls the first valve in a humidification mode so that the filtered water is supplied to the humidification chamber.
