    • PURPOSE: A plasma display device is provided to reduce a noise due to vibration of a conductive tape by forming a hole for preventing a noise to the conductive tape attached to a bracket and a filter. CONSTITUTION: A filter(20) is attached to a front surface of a plasma display panel(10). A front surface of a chassis base is mounted to a rear surface of the plasma display panel. A driving circuit part(60) is mounted to a rear surface of the chassis base, and drives the plasma display panel. The bracket is connected to a rear surface of a chassis base(30), and is installed to a front surface of the plasma display panel. A conductive tape(80) is attached to the filter and the bracket, conducts an electromagnetic wave flowing to the filter to the chassis base, and includes a plurality of holes(90) for preventing a noise.

    • A plasma display panel is provided to minimize an after-image of a screen by installing a stomatal foamy adhesive member between a panel assembly and a chassis base. A panel assembly(201) has a first substrate(202) and a second substrate(203) coupled to the first substrate. A chassis base(204) is coupled to the panel assembly and supports it. A foamy adhesive member(206) is disposed between the panel assembly and the chassis base and discharges heats generated from the panel assembly. The foamy adhesive member is foamy graphite. Thermal conductivity of the foamy graphite is more than 240 W/mk. A surface of the foamy adhesive member is directly attached to a rear of a second substrate. The other surface of the foamy adhesive member is directly attached to a rear of the chassis base. The plural foamy adhesive members are separately attached to the whole region of an external surface of the substrate.

    • An apparatus for reducing a noise and a display device using the same are provided to suppress the generation of noise in power-on by generating a masking sound from a masking sound source for a certain time. An apparatus for reducing a noise of a display device includes a power-on detector(41), a noise controller(42), and a masking sound source(43). The power-on detector detects a power-on signal of a display panel(30). The noise controller generates a masking signal in order to mask a starting noise according to the power-on signal. The masking sound source receives the masking signal, and outputs a masking sound to the display panel so as to mask the starting noise. The masking sound has a higher sound pressure than the starting noise.
