摘要： A liquid crystal display is provided to couple a protection window to a mold frame without using double-stick by inserting a sliding protrusion into a sliding groove. A liquid crystal display includes a liquid crystal display panel, a back light assembly, a mold frame(700), and a protection window(800). A liquid crystal layer is injected between an upper substrate and a lower substrate to display an image. The back light assembly projects light to the liquid crystal display panel. The mold frame fixes the liquid crystal display panel and the back light assembly. A sliding groove is formed at an upper portion of the mold frame. A sliding protrusion corresponding to the sliding groove is formed in the protection window. The protection window is coupled to the mold frame.

The partition wall partitions the space between the first and second substrates into a plurality of small spaces. An OCB(Optically Compensated Bend) mode liquid crystal(3) fills each of the partitioned small spaces. A state of band arrangement is changed by applying the second voltage lower than the first voltage between the first and second electrodes. Therefore, the OCB mode liquid crystal is driven.
