摘要： PURPOSE: A sizing composition, a method for sizing a glass fiber by using the composition and a glass fiber sized by the method are provided, to improve mechanical properties and hydrolysis resistance by using a water-dispersive and/or water-soluble blocked isocyanate having a remarkable low deblocking temperature. CONSTITUTION: The sizing composition comprises a water-dispersive and/or water-soluble aralkylamine-blocked polyisocyanate; a film-forming resin; a coupling agent; and a lubricant. Preferably the water-dispersive and/or water-soluble aralkylamine-blocked polyisocyanate is prepared from at least one polyisocyanate comprising an aliphatic, alicyclic, araliphatic and/or aromatic bonded isocyanate group; at least one ionic, potentially ionic and/or nonionic compound; at least one blocking agent containing 20 wt% or more of an aralkylamine; at least one aliphatic (alicyclic) monoamine and/or polyamine containing 1-4 amine groups and having a molecular weight of 200 or less; at least one polyvalent alcohol containing 1-4 hydroxyl groups and having a molecular weight of 250 or less; at least one stabilizer and other auxiliaries; and at least one solvent.
