    • PURPOSE: A soft microporous elastomer foam of a low density blown with carbon dioxide, its preparation method and a shoe component prepared by using the soft microporous elastomer foam are provided, wherein the foam has an uniform pore structure and the improved physical properties compared with the foam blown with water. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of preparing a mixture comprising an isocyanate functional component, an isocyanate reactive component containing at least one hydroxy-functional polyol having a theoretical functional number of 2-4, optionally a chain extender weigh a molecular weight less than 300 Da, and optionally a crosslinking agent with a molecular weight less than 300 Da, an urethane promotion catalyst and optionally a catalyst for an isocyanate-water foaming reaction if water exists, and a surfactant effective to form the stable pore with an average diameter less 200 micrometers; and supplying a foaming agent to the mixture to form a polyurethane foam with a density of 0.1-0.75 g/cm¬3.
