    • PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of ketone is provided to obtain ketone without additional step for activating catalyst to a reducing agent, and improve producing efficiency after charging catalyst to columns. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of ketone comprises: a step for charging the catalyst of an ion exchange resin in which metal chelate is impregnated, into a column; a step of adding solvent into column; and a step manufacturing ketone by flowing the solvent and hydrogen through the column. The solvent comprises acetone. The metal chelate comprises one metal ion selected from palladium, platinum, iridium, rhodium, ruthenium, copper, gold and silver. The catalyst comprises 0.1-15wt% metal chelate basis on the weight of the dried catalyst.
