    • PURPOSE: A sliding type container transfer vehicle in a dual mode trailer system is provided to horizontally transfer a container between a lorry and a trailer by including a simple structure without a container transferring unit having complex compositions. CONSTITUTION: A sliding type container transfer vehicle in a dual mode trailer system comprises a plurality of legs(101), a driving wheel(110), a base(120), a container holder(130), two sliding blocks(140), a longitudinal direction driving device(150), and a height control device. The driving wheel moves on a rail. The base is integrally comprised with the leg and comprises an upper frame and a lower frame. The container holder is located to an upper part of the base. Two sliding blocks are installed at both sides of a container and includes a width direction driving device. The longitudinal direction driving wheel is installed between the sliding block and the container holder, and the height control device is installed to the base.

    • PURPOSE: A container loading/unloading system and method are provided to carry out stable loading/unloading of containers between a freight car and a trailer without a separate transfer unit. CONSTITUTION: A container loading/unloading system comprises a horizontal transfer unit(100), a vehicle positioning determination unit(200), a hydraulic driving unit(400), a horizontal driving determination unit(500), a vertical driving determination unit(600), and a controller(700). The horizontal transfer unit is installed in the loaded side of a freight car in order to load/unload containers. The vehicle positioning determination unit determines the relative location of a trailer based on the location of the freight car and enables the arrangement in the right positions. The hydraulic driving unit controls the operations of driving units transferring the horizontal transfer unit. The horizontal driving determination unit determines the normal operation of the driving units and the correct positioning of the horizontal transfer unit. The vertical driving determination unit determines the normal operation of driving units for the vertical driving of the horizontal transfer unit. The controller controls the operations of the whole parts of the system.

    • PURPOSE: A global positioning system for a loading/unloading of container, which improves alignment accuracy of trailers, is provided to enable a drive to recognize a position by using a horizontal moving device. CONSTITUTION: A global positioning system for a loading/unloading of container comprises a position awareness sensor module(52), a main control board(50), and a display means(51). The position awareness sensor module outputs the data about the alignment of the first and second container vehicles. The main control board receives the sensing signal of the position awareness sensor module and produces the stopped state and location of the first container vehicle. The alignment of the first and second container vehicles are transmitted with the display means. The display means indicates the information about the alignment of the first and second container vehicles in order to inform the alignment of the first and second container vehicles to the operator of the first container vehicle.
