    • An electrode terminal (42) is joined, via a deformation restricting member (3), to an electrode collection part (12). Spaces (15,15) are defined above/under the electrode collection part (12) between laminate seals (2,2).     • PURPOSE: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery is provided, to improve the power, particularly at a low temperature range of -30 deg.C by adding a small quantity of an additive to an electrolyte. CONSTITUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises an anode, a cathode, a separator and a nonaqueous electrolyte containing a lithium salt dissolved in a nonaqueous solvent, wherein the nonaqueous electrolyte comprises a compound having a boroxin ring and a (poly)alkylene oxide chain, represented by the formula 1 or 2. In the formula 1, Alk1, Alk2 and Alk3 are identical or different one another and are an alkylene group of C2-C3, and R'1, R'2 and R'3 are identical or different one another and are an alkyl group of C1-C2; and in the formula 2, n is an integer of 1 or more. Preferably the nonaqueous solvent is at least two selected from the group consisting of ethylene carbonate, propylene carbonate, diethyl carbonate, dimethyl carbonate and ethylmethyl carbonate.
