    • A device for cooling optimizing of a gas turbine is provided to supply additional cooling air to an air channel and to change the flow rate of cooling air simply. A cooling device of a gas turbine comprises a combustion chamber(10), at least one compressor with an outer casing(16) and an inner casing(32), a turbine wheel(14) with a series of blades(12), and at least one rotor(38) with at least one support bearing(34). The compressor can produce cooling air to be supplied to the turbine wheel through a proper channel(20). An optimizing device(30) for a cooling device of a gas turbine has one or more grooves(26) on the outer periphery, to supply additional air to the channel from the compressor so as to increase air flow toward the turbine wheel.

    • PURPOSE: A cooling system for a gas turbine and a corresponding operation method are provided to resist to the highest temperature which can be obtained during operation under the maximum load since components are accurately cooled, and thus power is maximized and the damage of a machine is reduced. CONSTITUTION: Method of operating a cooling system for a gas turbine comprises the next steps. Working fluid is compressed through a compressor. The compressed working fluid is supplied to a combustion chamber to be overheated. The overheated working fluid is expanded in at least one expansion turbine so that energy is produced. The compressed working fluid is supplied to a first cavity so that an expansion turbine is cooled from the first tapping of the compressed working fluid. The compressed working fluid is supplied to a second cavity so that an expansion turbine is cooled from the second tapping of the compressed working fluid. The second cavity is located in the upstream of the first cavity, and the second tapping is located in the downstream of the first tapping.
