摘要： A media deposit apparatus and a controlling method thereof are provided to improve transfer efficiency of the media by determining the path of the media by pivotally moving only the gate between paths. A temporary stack unit temporarily stores the media inputted to a media deposit unit. The media storage unit stores the temporarily stored media in the temporary stack unit. A deposit transferring unit(120) provides the deposit circulating path of the media deposited through the media deposit unit. A temporary transfer unit(130) provides the temporary circulation path and includes a gate for the temporary stack. The gate for the temporary stack is provided between the deposit circulation path and the temporary circulation path and selectively converts the path of the media to the temporary circulation path. A media transferring unit(140) provides the media transferring path and includes the gate for storing the media. The gate for storing the media is provided between the media transferring path and the temporary circulation path and selectively converts the path of the media to the media transferring path.

The pressurizing cam unit pressurizes the paper medium and falls to provide the spare space to the upper side of the loading unit. The driving unit connects the pressurizing cam unit and the loading unit to be interlocked.
