    • PURPOSE: A zirconia-based catalyst for direct dehydrogenation, a manufacturing method of the same, and a manufacturing method of butene using the same are provided to improve the conversion rate of normal-butane and the selectivity to butene. CONSTITUTION: A zirconia-based catalyst is represented by Pt-M/ZrO_2. In the chemical formula, M is tin, zinc, cerium, copper, gold, silver, or indium. The content of platinum in the catalyst is in a range between 0.1 and 5 weight%, and the content of M in the catalyst is in a range between 0.1 and 5 weight%. The specific surface are of zirconia is more than or equal to 150m^2/g. The carrying molar ratio of platinum and M is 1: 0.2 to 5. A manufacturing method of the catalyst includes the following steps: zirconia salt is dissolved in water and aged under pH 9-11 and 25-120 Deg C for 2-280 hours to prepare a zirconia precursor; the zirconia precursor is plasticized under 600-1200 Deg C to prepare a zirconia carrier; the platinum precursor and a co-catalyst precursor are dissolved in a solvent, and the zirconia support is added into the solvent to carry the platinum and the co-catalyst in zirconia; and the zircon is plasticized under 600-1000 Deg C.
