    • The present invention relates to an image device of bistatic radar and an imaging method thereof which comprises a coherent signal processing unit, a platform information input unit, an image signal processing unit, and an image outputting unit. The coherent signal processing unit receives a second signal returned after a first signal transmitted from transmission radar of bistatic radar is arrived to a target terrain in a platform of the reception radar. The coherent signal processing unit extracts range information regarding scattering points within the target terrain and coherent-processes data included in a same range bin among range profiles which are calculated using the range information. The coherent signal processing unit extracts a doppler frequency regarding the scattering points, and a reflection coefficient corresponding to the doppler frequency. The platform information input unit measures a speed vector of a reception radar platform separated from the transmission radar and extracts the moving speed and moving direction of the reception radar platform from the speed vector. An image signal processing unit extracts a coordinate of the scattering points using the doppler frequency, the reflection coefficient, the moving speed, and the moving direction. The image outputting unit outputs an image by mapping the data including the reflection coefficient and the coordinate of the scattering points to the coordinate.

    • PURPOSE: A target direction estimation method and an apparatus of a mono-pulse radar are provided to increase accuracy of target tracking by continuously controlling the beam steering direction by accurately estimating an error between the current beam steering direction and the real target direction. CONSTITUTION: A target direction estimation apparatus includes a first estimated value calculation unit(400), a second estimated value calculation unit(402) and a beam steering direction correction unit(404). The first estimated value calculation unit calculates a first estimated value about the target direction using an MRC according to signal vector, weighed vector of an arrayed antenna and ML(Maximum Likelihood) technique received from an arrayed antenna after transmitting a mono-pulse. The second estimated value calculation unit calculates the final estimated value about the target direction using the inverse function of a function determining the first estimated value and the MRC. A beam steering direction correction unit(406) corrects the beam steering direction using the final estimated value.
