    • PURPOSE: To provide a piezoelectric electroacoustic transducer with a stable frequency characteristics by applying an adhesive properly to fix a thin diaphragm to a case and of a conductive adhesive for electric connection between the diaphragm and the case so as to prevent distortion from occurring in the diaphragm. CONSTITUTION: The piezoelectric electroacoustic transducer employs a 1st adhesive 13 that is applied to the shortest path tying a piezoelectric diaphragm 1 and interconnections 11a, 12a to fix the piezoelectric diaphragm to the case between the internal connections 11a, 12a of the outer circumferential part and the terminal of the rectangular piezoelectric diaphragm 1 in tortuous vibration in a broadwise direction by applying an alternate signal between electrodes, a conductive adhesive 14 that is applied between the electrodes and the internal connections of the terminal of the piezoelectric diaphragm via an upper face of the 1st adhesive 13 while bypassing the shortest path tying the piezoelectric diaphragm and the internal connections so as to electrically connect the electrodes and the internal connections of the terminal of the piezoelectric diaphragm, and a 2nd adhesive 15 that seals a gap between the outer circumferential part of the piezoelectric diaphragm and the inner circumferential part of the case.

    • A piezoelectric electroacoustic transducer includes a substantially square piezoelectric diaphragm flexually vibrating in a plate-thickness direction in response to application of an alternating signal between electrodes, a substantially rectangular insulating case having a supporting member disposed inside sidewalls of the case for supporting the diaphragm, terminals having internal connections exposed in a vicinity of the supporting member and external connections exposed outside the case and electrically connecting to the internal connections, a first adhesive applied to a shortest route located between the external periphery of the diaphragm and the internal connections and connecting the diaphragm to the internal connections so as to fix the diaphragm to the case, a conductive adhesive applied to electrodes of the diaphragm and the internal connections via the upper surface of the first adhesive by detouring from the shortest route to connect the diaphragm to the internal connections for electrically connecting the electrodes of the diaphragm to the internal connections of the terminals, and a second adhesive for sealing a clearance between the external periphery of the diaphragm and the internal periphery of the case. The first and second adhesives have a Young's modulus after curing smaller than that of the conductive adhesive.

    • PURPOSE: To provide a piezoelectric type electroacoustic transducer in which adverse effect on vibrating plates is made less and the changes in the characteristics are reduced even though thermal deformation occurs and an external force is applied to the casings. CONSTITUTION: The transducer is provided with piezoelectric vibrating plates 1 which have a quadrilateral shape bend and vibrate in a thickness direction by applying alternating signals between electrodes, casings 10 and 20 which store the plates 1 and a pair of terminals 11 and 12 which are inserted and formed into the casings. One tip parts of the terminals 11 and 12 being introduced into the internal sections of the casings are respectively provided with trunk sections 11c and 12c which are fixed to the inside surface center sections of the casings and both wing sections 11d and 12d which are extended toward corner sections from the trunk sections. The sections 11d and 12d are not fixed with respect to the casings and provided with stress releasing sections 11f and 12f that are formed between the sections 11c and 12c and the sections 11d and 12d so that the sections 11d and 12d are freely displaced in the internal side direction of the casings. The electrodes of the plates 1 are connected to at least one of the sections 11d and 12d by electrically conductive adhesive 14.
