摘要： An automatic emergency calling apparatus using a telephone line and a method thereof are provided to transmit a warning signal generated from a fire alarm to the center management server of a fire station quickly by using a telephone network. A wireless transmission module(2) receives sensing signals outputted from fire detecting sensors(1) which are installed in each story within a building, and then outputs an alarm signal. A wireless relay device(4) wirelessly receives the alarm signal outputted from the wireless transmission module, converts the received signal into a signal suitable for a telephone network, and then transmits the converted signal to a command server(3) installed in a fire station. The wireless transmission module outputs a position signal corresponding to the identification code of the fire detecting sensor and the time when a fire is detected according to the inputted sensing signal.
