The first and second current distributing plates are respectively located on the outer sides of the first and second electrodes. The first and second separating plates are respectively located on the outer sides of the first and second current distributing plates. The pressure mat is located between the first current distributing plate and the first separating plate and/or between the second current distributing plate and the second separating plate.

    • PURPOSE: An electrochemical germicide generator and a system using the same are provided to prevent separation since a salt-water electrolysis cell consists of a membrane, anode and cathode and they are coupled physically and chemically. CONSTITUTION: An electrochemical germicide generator comprises a softner, a salt-water tank(220), an electrolysis cell, a germicide tank, a liquid-gas separator, and a chlorine dissolving unit. The electrolysis cell comprises a diaphragm for passing sodium ion between an anode chamber and a cathode chamber. The liquid-gas separator separates non-reactive salt water and chlorine from the discharge material of the anode chamber. The non-reactive salt water separated by the liquid-gas separator flows into the anode chamber back. The chlorine separated by the liquid-gas separator is put into the chlorine dissolving unit along with caustic soda solution discharged from the cathode chamber.
