    • PURPOSE: A biodegradable polymer vesicle is provided, to improve phase stability and to allow a various size of polymer vesicles to be obtained. CONSTITUTION: The biodegradable polymer vesicle is prepared from an amphiphilic copolymer comprising a hydrophobic block of poly(epsilon-caprolactone) and a hydrophilic block of polyethyleneimine or polyethylene oxide. Preferably the ratio of the poly(epsilon-caprolactone) and the polyethyleneimine or polyethylene oxide is 100:1 to 1:2 by weight. Preferably the poly(epsilon-caprolactone), the polyethyleneimine and the polyethylene oxide have a weight average molecular weight of 1,000-100,000 Dalton, 100-2,000 Dalton and 500-5,000 Dalton, respectively. Preferably the polymer vesicle has an average particle diameter of 50-1,000 nm.
