    • PURPOSE: A method of producing a cattle feed using rice straw as a main component of a roughage material and pineapple silage as a main component of a feed additive and then fermenting the components under anaerobic conditions is provided. The produced cattle feed increases the fecundity of ruminants, in particular dairy cattle, promotes fertility and lowers somatic cell count in the milk of lactating ruminants. CONSTITUTION: A cattle feed is prepared by mixing a roughage material containing rice straw as a main material and 1 to 20% by weight of a feed additive containing pineapple silage as a main material, based on the weight of the roughage material, compressing and fermenting the granular feed. The roughage material contains 40 to 70 parts by weight of rice straw and 30 to 50 parts by weight of alfalfa and the feed additive contains 40 to 90 parts by weight of seaweeds selected from kelp, brown algae, laver and green laver and 10 to 60 parts by weight of pineapple silage.

    • PURPOSE: Provided is a mixed feed containing a large amount of high quality lactic acid bacteria by high temperature anaerobic fermentation, which promotes digestion and growth of livestock and prevents environmental pollution due to organic discharge. CONSTITUTION: The feed is manufactured by the steps of: (i) mixing raw materials of feed to keep the balance of nutrition; (ii) raising the density of the material to 2.5-5times of the original density and adjusting the water content to 25-40%; (iii) airtight packing the adjusted material in a light interrupted vinyl bag; and (iv) leaving the vinyl bag at room temperature for 12hrs-7days to ferment high temperature anaerobic lactic acid bacteria at 40-70deg.C. The airtight packed feed is supplied to a consumer to be fed in the wet state.
