    • Process for setting up and controlling the axial preloading of a chucking portion (34) of at least one stem of the screw or bolt type (4). Preloading comprises tensioning the extended portion (33) of the stem (4) comprising the chucking portion (34), using a load-handling device (9) of the stem (4) and a tensioning device (6).
