    • The present invention relates to a monitoring camera system capable of determining the need of power supply by itself. More particularly, the monitoring camera system capable of determining the need of power supply by itself is capable of saving energy compared to a convention manner because the present invention supplies power through a data cable only when the supply or charge of power are need for a camera system placed far, so power supply can be completed without an additional power line installation. The present invention is made to solve a problem that energy is used unnecessarily by an AC/DC converter, regulator placed inside the camera system, and resistance factors of cable placed between the camera system and a power supplier when power is supplied continually to the monitoring camera system placed far away. For this, the present invention comprises: a plurality of cameras photographing separately installed on different spots targeted; a camera unit including a camera controller for supplying power to cameras and requesting power supply only when power supply is needed by determining the operation of cameras independently; a power supplier for supplying power to the camera controller using data lines transmitting photographed data of one of the cameras, electrically connected to the camera unit; and a server controller for supplying power to the camera unit by operating the power supplier after receiving request signals of the camera controller.
