摘要： A height adjusting chair is provided to make driving posts and fixing posts that constitute legs ascend and descend stably through the engagement of rack gears and to restrain the engaging structure of rack gears easily. A height adjusting chair includes a seat plate(3), a backplate(2) and legs. The legs include an upper frame(10), a lower frame(20), a pivoting post, a rack gear(23) and a pinion gear(15). The upper frame includes a couple of driving posts(10a,10b) coupled to both sides of the seat plate. The lower frame includes a couple of fixing posts(20a,20b) into which the driving posts are inserted and leg supports(21). The rack gear is coupled to one side of the inside of the fixing post, and a restraining pin is fitted between gears of the rack gear selectively. The pinion gear is rotatably installed on the driving post.
