    • PURPOSE: A method for controlling air-conditioning system of an automobile is provided to cancel/return a mode in which outside air is introduced when a mix/defrost mode is selected depending on a driver's need. CONSTITUTION: A driver is allowed to push an inside air button as needed to cancel/return automatic defrost mode if a blower is switched off and mix mode or defrost mode is selected. The automatic defrost mode is canceled/returned if the inside air button has been pushed within three seconds or is pushed more than five times. An indicator is flickered to indicate that the inside button is operated as the inside air button is operated. The indicator is switched on/off as the automatic defrost mode is canceled/returned to indicate that switching of cancel/return of the automatic defrost mode is completed. An air conditioner is not automatically switched on and air suction mode is not forcibly switched to outside air introduction mode even when mix/defrost mode is selected when the automatic defrost mode is canceled thereby.

    • PURPOSE: A rotary type mode controller for an air-conditioning system is provided to continuously supply lubricant such as grease, and to reduce generation of noise due to short of the lubricant. CONSTITUTION: A mode controller includes a case(50) having a cavity(53) on which position determining parts(51) are formed with fixed patterns for mode selection; a rotor(63) installed in the cavity in such a manner that the rotor rotates in the cavity, and having at least one ball plunger(62) placed on a peripheral surface thereof to have position thereof fixed by the position determining parts; and a lubricant supply unit(70) installed in the case to restrict range in which the rotor rotates, and supplying lubricant to the ball plunger. The lubricant supply unit includes a lubricant storage container(71) installed in the case on one side of the cavity; a sliding member(72) having a piston part(72a) installed in the lubricant storage container in such a manner that the piston slides in the lubricant storage container, and a head part(72b) protruded to contact with one side of the rotor; and a spring(73) installed to the lubricant storage container to elastically bias the sliding member toward the rotor.

    • PURPOSE: An air blower switch for vehicle air conditioning system is provided, in which a plurality of contact switches are connected in parallel between a plurality of resistances and the contact switch is selectively connected, to thereby adjust rotation velocity of the blower fan in a fine manner. CONSTITUTION: A switch contact group(20) where a plurality of contact switches(SW1-SW4) are connected in serial, is connected in parallel with a resistance group(10), wherein each resistance is connected in parallel with each switch contact, to thereby form a matrix circuit. That is, the first contact switch(SW1) is connected in parallel to the branching point between resistance(R1) and resistance(R2), and the second contact switch(SW2) is connected in parallel to the branching point between resistance(R2) and resistance(R3). Contact switches are selectively electrically connected to resistances(R1-R3), and the sum of the resistances is divided. Thus, rotational frequency of a blower motor(21) is adjusted in a fine manner.
