    • PURPOSE: An electrolyte for an Li-Mn secondary cell is provided to enhance the life time and stability of the cell in a high temperature by adding an electrolyte salt which does not liquidate a Mn ion into a non-aqueous solvent. CONSTITUTION: An electrolyte for an Li-Mn secondary cell is produced by adding an electrolyte salt into a non-aqueous solvent. It is not preferred that the electrolyte salt produces an acid material such as halogen acid which liquidates a Mn ion at a high temperature of at least 50 deg.C. The electrolyte salt can be used with a salt. It is preferred that the salt is at least 10mol%. If the salt is under 10mol%, the acid material is excessively produced and high temperature properties are not improved. The total electrolyte salt is added into the non-aqueous solvent at 0.5 to 1.8M. If the concentration is under 0.5M, cell capacity and life time properties are degraded, and if over 1.8, the low temperature properties are degraded.
