    • PURPOSE: A vacuum interrupter for an ultra high voltage is provided to accurately perform a stop operation by inserting a buffer spring between a movable electrode unit and a metal end. CONSTITUTION: A vacuum container(50) is sealed with a vacuum state. A friction reducing device is installed between a guide connection unit(57) and a movable electrode unit(55) and reduces a frictional force of the movable electrode unit. The movable electrode unit slides along the guide connection unit. A buffer spring(62) elastically supports an axial movement of the movable electrode unit.

CONSTITUTION: A mechanism for driving a vacuum switch using a linear motion comprises front and rear guide plates(210,250), a locking plate(350), a unlocking plate, a drive bar(510), a main spring assembly(410), and a locking spring assembly(710). The front and rear guide plates are installed inside a tank assembly. The locking and unlocking plates are installed between the front and rear guide plates and are moved in a horizontal direction. The drive bar is horizontally connected to the locking plate. The main spring assembly is installed on the rear guide plate and controls the vertical movement of the unlocking plate. The locking spring assembly fixes the moved state of the locking plate.
