    • PURPOSE: A conductor roll with less scale generation is provided to prevent corrosion of the inner part of conductor roll used in electro-galvanizing process by cooling water and block scale from being generated by corrosion. CONSTITUTION: In a conductor roll in which a space is formed so that cooling water is circulated in the space, the conductor roll with less scale generation comprises an anode(200) which is traversely fixed to the inner wall of both sides of the conductor roll with being parallel to rotation central shaft of the conductor roll, on which zinc(202) is coated to a certain thickness, and at a certain position of which a plurality of bubble dispersion meshes(204) connected to cavity formed inside the anode(200) are installed to prevent corrosion of the inside of the conductor roll; an anode protector(212) fixed to the outer side of the conductor roll to protect an end part of the anode(200) inserted into the anode protector(212) to a certain depth; and an anode cover(214) which is cohesively engaged with the anode protector(212) so that the anode protector(212) is rotated with the anode cover(214) being fixed to the outer part of the conductor roll, and in which nitrogen injection space and oxygen discharge space reciprocally separated along with the anode protector(212) closely adhered to the nitrogen injection space and oxygen discharge space are formed in upper side and lower side of the water surface of cooling water flown in the conductor roll so as to flow nitrogen of nitrogen supplier to the anode(200) dipped into the cooling water during rotation of the conductor roll and discharge oxygen to air discharger when the anode(200) is positioned on the upper part of the water surface of cooling water.

    • PURPOSE: A conductor roll of a radial-type electroplating apparatus having a band mark and arc spot resistance is provided which gives the good external appearance of a product and increases the productivity of electroplating per hour. CONSTITUTION: In the conductor roll of a radial-type electroplating apparatus containing a conductive band acting as an electrode and a nonconductive resin layer coated on the periphery of the band to cover except the conductive band, the conductive band comprises a conductive polymeric compound(41) having a coefficient of volume expansion, an abrasion loss and hardness similar to that of a material(42) of the nonconductive resin layer. The conductive polymeric compound(41) uses polyaniline, polyphyrrole or polythiophene. The conductor roll prevents a band mark and an arc spot from being formed on a steel sheet and thereby gives the good external appearance of a product and increases the productivity of electroplating per hour.
