    • The present invention relates to an oil cooling system for a server and an operation method thereof. The oil cooling system for a server includes a server tower inside which an oil passage for insulating cooling oil to flow is formed; a heat absorption unit which absorbs the heat generated from a heat generating electronic device in the server tower; a cooling oil pipe which is connected from the oil passage of the server tower to a cooling device at the outside; a hydraulic oil pump which circulates the cooling oil in the cooling oil pipe; a first temperature sensor which is installed inside the server tower and detects changes in temperature; a hot water generating tank which performs a first cooling process by making the cooling oil pipe contact the cooling water in the tank; a heating device which performs a second cooling process by making the cooling oil pipe, which passes the first cooling process, contact the air; a second temperature sensor which is installed in the cooling oil pipe and measures the temperature of the cooling oil pipe; a remaining heat processing unit which performs a third cooling process by installing a small-sized and low-power cooler inside the cooling oil pipe; and a control unit which controls the operation of the hydraulic oil pump and the remaining heat processing unit depending on the measured temperature by the first and the second temperature sensors based on the reference temperature data. The present invention is able to save energy by using the condensation heat from heat-generating electronic devices inside a large-sized enterprise server tower for heating or hot water and facilitates efficient cooling of the server tower by executing total three cooling processes.
