    • PURPOSE: A power amplifier circuit controlling power of adjacent channel and of next to the adjacent channel is provided to more accurately control power of an adjacent channel and of a next to the adjacent channel over a wide range by using a power amplifier. CONSTITUTION: The power amplifier circuit(300) can control power of an adjacent channel and of a next to the adjacent channel. A power amplifier(172) amplifies an input signal to generate an amplified signal. A peak average detector(180) detects a peak level of the amplified signal and an average level of the amplified signal and provides an instruction of the peak level and the average level. A controller(181) controls a voltage applied to the power amplifier(172) in response to the instruction. In the case that the difference between the peak level and the average level is increased more than a prescribed level, the controller(181) decreases the applied voltage and when the difference between the peak level and the average level is decreased more than a prescribed level, the controller(181) increases the applied voltage.
